Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract and salt, and mix well.

Gradually add the flour and chopped pecans, mixing until well combined.

Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Once cooled, roll the puffs in powdered sugar.
