Preheat the smoker to 225°F (110°C).

Cut the pears in half and remove the core.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, honey, cinnamon, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.

Brush the mixture over the cut side of each pear half.

Place the pears on the smoker rack, cut side up, and close the lid.

Smoke the pears for about 30 minutes or until they are tender and have absorbed the smoky flavor.

Meanwhile, toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 5 minutes. Let them cool, then roughly chop.

Remove the pears from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Serve the smoked pears warm, drizzled with the walnut and butter sauce, and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
