Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the raisins and chopped nuts, if desired.

Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
