  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, and fold until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cakes rest in the ramekins for 5 minutes.
  9. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate and gently tap to release the cake.
