  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches a temperature of 180°F (82°C).
  2. Let the milk cool down to 110°F (43°C).
  3. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt starter culture with a small amount of the cooled milk.
  4. Add the yogurt mixture to the remaining milk and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into clean glass jars and cover them with lids.
  6. Place the jars in a warm spot, such as an oven with the light on, and let them rest for 8 hours.
  7. After 8 hours, transfer the jars to the refrigerator and let the yogurt chill for at least 4 hours.
  8. Serve the homemade yogurt chilled and enjoy!
