  2. Heat milk and butter in a small saucepan until butter is melted.
  3. Add milk mixture and egg to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle the mixture over the dough.
  9. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side.
  10. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal slices.
  11. Place the slices in a greased baking dish.
  12. Cover and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  13. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  14. Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  15. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
