Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown cane sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
