Cinnamon rolls are believed to have originated in Sweden and are traditionally enjoyed on October 4th, known as Cinnamon Roll Day.

  2. In a separate large bowl, mix together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, coconut sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add almond milk, melted butter, and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape on a lightly floured surface.
