  2. Wash the sweet potatoes and prick them with a fork. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until they are soft.
  3. Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Cut the sweet potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh, leaving a thin layer of flesh on the skins.
  5. In a bowl, mash the sweet potato flesh with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Spoon the sweet potato mixture back into the skins.
  7. Top each sweet potato half with pecans and mini marshmallows.
  8. Return the sweet potatoes to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and toasted.
