While the cake is baking, prepare the banana cream filling. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, slice the cake horizontally into two equal layers.
