  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and cocoa powder, and mix well.

  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined.
