Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Gradually add in the flour, chopped nuts, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Press half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

In a small saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk over low heat until warmed.

Pour the warmed condensed milk over the crust in the baking dish.

Sprinkle the dark chocolate chips evenly over the condensed milk.

Crumble the remaining dough mixture over the top of the chocolate chips.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.

Cut into bars and serve.
