  2. Grate the potatoes and onion using a food processor or a grater.

  5. Add the matzo meal, salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil to the bowl and mix well.
  6. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and pour the potato mixture into the dish.
  7. Smooth the top with a spatula.
