Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
-
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool.
-
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
-
In a separate bowl, beat the brown butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
-
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the toasted pecans.
-
Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
-
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
-
Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Then transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Serve and enjoy!
