Garlic Breadsticks
Garlic has been used for culinary and medicinal purposes for thousands of years. It is believed to have originated in Central Asia and was used by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans.

In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Add melted butter and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until the dough is formed.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a breadstick shape.

Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic. Brush the mixture over the breadsticks.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
