  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, ground ginger, and salt.
  3. Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and add them to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and egg yolks until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until the dough comes together.
  6. Divide the dough in half. Press one half of the dough into the bottom of a tart pan.

  8. Arrange the plum slices on top of the dough in the tart pan.
