In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir until well combined.

Add the Rice Krispies to the bowl and stir until they are fully coated with the peanut butter mixture.

Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.

In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie mixture and spread evenly.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the bars to set.

Cut into squares and serve.
