Masala Baked Eggs, also known as Shakshuka, is a popular breakfast dish in many Middle Eastern and North African countries.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and green chili to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  6. Make 4 wells in the tomato mixture and crack an egg into each well.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala powder over the eggs.
  8. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot with bread or roti.
