Kahlua Yams
Yams are often confused with sweet potatoes, but they are actually two different plants. Yams have a rough, bark-like skin and are starchier in texture compared to sweet potatoes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and slice the yams into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, Kahlua, and cinnamon. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Arrange the yam slices in a greased baking dish. Pour the Kahlua mixture over the yams.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and top the yams with mini marshmallows.

Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and the yams are tender.
