  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and mix until well combined.
  6. Stir in the rolled oats, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
