Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.

In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and minced jalapeno pepper.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
