In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix well.

Add the softened butter, milk, melon extract, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Punch down the dough to release the air. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a round ball.

Roll each dough ball in bread crumbs, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Cover the dough balls with a damp cloth and let them rest for another 15 minutes.

Brush the tops of the dough balls with melted butter.
