In the bread machine pan, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm.

Pour the milk mixture into the bread machine pan.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract.

Select the dough setting on the bread machine and start.

Once the dough is ready, remove it from the bread machine and place it on a floured surface.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle.

In a small bowl, mix together the chocolate chips and cocoa powder.

Sprinkle the chocolate mixture evenly over the dough.

Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the long side.

Place the rolled dough into a greased loaf pan.

Cover the pan with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise for about 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the babka for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
