Cinnamon Peanut Butter Brownies
Peanut butter was first introduced as a health food in the early 1900s and became popular as a sandwich spread during World War II.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, and mix well.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter and cinnamon.

Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture on top, then spread the remaining brownie batter over the top.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the batter.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cut into squares and serve.
