Creamsicle Cupcakes
Creamsicle Cupcakes are inspired by the popular Creamsicle ice cream treat, which combines orange and vanilla flavors.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, orange food coloring, and enough heavy cream to achieve a thick but pourable consistency.

Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cupcakes.
