Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter and cream cheese until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
On a lightly floured surface, roll out one portion of the dough into a 1/8-inch thick circle. Spread 1/4 of the orange zest evenly over the dough. Sprinkle 1/4 of the dried cranberries, walnuts, and cinnamon over the zest. Gently press the filling into the dough.
-
Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into 8 wedges. Starting from the wide end, roll up each wedge tightly and place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
-
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow the rugelach to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Once cooled, dust the rugelach with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
