Corn flakes were originally created as a healthy breakfast cereal, but they can also be used to make delicious cookies!

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the corn flakes.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
