Coffee Chip Cake
Coffee cakes have been enjoyed since the 17th century and were originally made to accompany a cup of coffee.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 90 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and instant coffee granules.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
