  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the batter.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Slice and serve.
