  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cold butter. Mix until crumbly.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle half of the pecan streusel mixture over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the streusel layer. Top with the remaining streusel mixture.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
