  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cut the bread into cubes.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Add the bread cubes and raisins to the bowl, and stir until the bread is evenly coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  6. Dot the top of the bread pudding with small pieces of butter.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and golden brown on top.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
