  4. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  5. Remove the dumplings from the water and drain.
  6. In a separate pan, melt butter and add bread crumbs. Toast the bread crumbs until golden brown.
  7. Serve the dumplings sprinkled with toasted bread crumbs and garnish with chopped chives.
