  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the blackberries, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat until the blackberries release their juices.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, remaining sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  5. Slowly pour the blackberry mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  6. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted.
  8. Pour the blackberry curd into the prepared tart crust.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.
  10. Allow the tart to cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
  11. Serve with whipped cream.
