Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out the puff pastry sheets and place one sheet on a baking tray.

In a saucepan, mix custard powder, sugar, and milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Pour the custard over the puff pastry sheet on the baking tray.

Place the second puff pastry sheet on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 1 hour.

Dust with icing sugar and cut into slices.
