Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced red and yellow bell peppers and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes.

Add the sliced red onion and continue cooking until the vegetables are caramelized, about 10 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix together the remaining olive oil, balsamic vinegar, fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper.

Brush the olive oil mixture over the pizza dough.

Arrange the caramelized peppers and onions on top of the dough.
