Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the zucchini into thin rounds.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.

Add the cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh basil to the egg mixture. Stir well.

Grease a baking dish and arrange a layer of zucchini slices at the bottom.

Pour half of the egg mixture over the zucchini layer.

Repeat the layering process with the remaining zucchini slices and egg mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the zucchini is tender.
