In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Divide the dough in half. Add pink food coloring to one half and mix until the color is evenly distributed.

Shape each portion of dough into a log and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Slice the chilled dough logs into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
