Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.

Peel, core, and slice the apples.

In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and cinnamon.

Add the sliced apples and lemon juice to the bowl, and toss until the apples are coated.

Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared pie crust.

Dot the top of the apples with small pieces of butter.

Roll out the remaining pie crust and place it on top of the apples.

Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust.

Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 60 minutes before serving.
