In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture, mixing well.

Divide the batter in half.

In one half, mix in cocoa powder until well combined.
