Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for 45 minutes, or until tender.

Allow sweet potatoes to cool, then peel and mash them in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Add the mixture to the mashed sweet potatoes and stir until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle pecans evenly over the top.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the pecans are toasted.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Top with marshmallows and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until marshmallows are golden brown.
