Strawberry Chocolate Chip Muffins
Muffins are said to have originated in ancient Greece, where they were baked in clay molds called ‘muffinaria’.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, melt the butter. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract to the melted butter and mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.

Divide the batter evenly among a greased or lined muffin tin.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
