Stove Top Mac n Cheese a/k/a never buy the boxed stuff again

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it turns golden brown.

Gradually whisk in the milk, making sure there are no lumps. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Reduce the heat to low and add the cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

Stir in the cooked macaroni, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
