  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add cooked onion mixture, butternut squash cubes, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the squash is tender.
