Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.

Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.

Stir in vegetable broth, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Add blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to coat them with the mushroom mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is golden and bubbly.

Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
