Simple Little Cookies
Cookies were originally created as a test for oven temperature. The dough was placed in the oven and if it came out crispy, the oven was ready for baking bread.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 55 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 8.

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
