  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the chopped walnuts, rolled oats, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
  5. Crumble the remaining flour mixture over the top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into bars.
