  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, gently toss the Saskatoon berries with lemon juice and cornstarch. Spread the berry mixture evenly over the crumb crust.
  5. In another bowl, mix together the remaining crumb mixture, brown sugar, oats, ground cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Sprinkle this mixture over the berries.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
