Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.

Peel, core, and slice the apples.

In a bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and flour.

Place half of the sliced apples in the pie crust and sprinkle half of the sugar mixture over them.

Repeat with the remaining apples and sugar mixture.

Dot the top of the pie with butter.

Cover the pie with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Let the pie cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
