Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crust and root beer extract. Press the mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.

Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.

In a separate bowl, soften the vanilla ice cream and spread it evenly over the cooled crust.

Pour the root beer over the ice cream, making sure it is evenly distributed.

Place the pie in the freezer and let it rest for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream and garnish with maraschino cherries.
