Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Crush the chocolate cookies and mix them with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Melt the dark chocolate and fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the center is set. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle the marshmallows and pecans over the top of the cheesecake. Return to the oven for 5 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
